It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock
The meat it feeds on.

Shakespeare, Othello

  • Mr Kit Griffin says:

I just listened to episode 15 and really enjoyed the topic. In fact, I’m going listen to it again! Yes, I feel it and my example is looking at mentions of other’s photographs on the popular photography YouTube channels. Saying to myself, “I should do that”. Procrastination is the killer here, why don’t I put my images forward (a rhetorical question).

There’s one academic detail that’s worth sharing and that’s the difference between envy and jealousy. I know — from popularity — they are synonymous. However, if a girl says, “My husband was quite jealous when you took me sailing.” I need to ask myself, is my life in danger or would he like to come sailing. True story, and it was the latter (I assure you).
